In short: SVG to PNG Converter – Custom Size & Scale is a free online tool with no sign-up and no upload — render any SVG to a crisp PNG, JPG or WebP at the exact pixel size you need. Everything happens in your browser — no upload.

How to use

  1. Load your SVG. Drop a .svg file on the box, or switch to "Paste SVG code" and paste the markup directly. The intrinsic size or viewBox is read automatically.
  2. Set the output size. Type a width or height (aspect ratio stays locked unless you untick it), pick a 2x/3x/4x scale for high-DPI screens, and choose a transparent, white or custom background.
  3. Download. The preview updates live. Download as PNG (keeps transparency), JPG or WebP. The exact pixel dimensions and file size are shown beneath the preview.

FAQ

Why is my SVG rendering at a tiny size?

Many SVGs have no width/height attributes, only a viewBox. This tool uses the viewBox as the base size, and you can type any width to scale it up. Vectors scale without blur, so a 4000 px export is just as sharp as a 100 px one.

What does the 2x / 3x / 4x scale do?

It multiplies the width and height you entered. Use 2x or 3x for Retina/high-DPI displays, app icons or print, where a 1x image would look soft.

Do external fonts and images inside the SVG render?

Inline styles, embedded fonts and data-URI images work. References to external files or web fonts are blocked by the browser for security when rasterising, so those parts may fall back to default fonts or be missing.

Which format should I choose?

PNG for logos, icons and anything with transparency. JPG for photographic content where size matters (background is filled). WebP gives the smallest files with transparency, but check the destination supports it.
